The team of Velaikkaran has completed the shooting of all the songs, after filming the last one in Rajasthan. Except for some patchwork, sources say, the talkie portions have also been completed. Recently, the team had finished shooting the duet number, in Ajmer dargah, where the song was  choreographed by Brinda. Pictures from the latter location were circulated on social media. 

The makers will be launching the Uyire track today and composer Anirudh Ravichander posted a video on social media saying, “This track will have two emotions--life and love, it’s a new experience for us and it will be out on November 2.” 

Directed by Mohan Raja and produced by RD Raja's 24AM Studios, Velaikkaran is scheduled for release in time for the Christmas holidays. The film is said to be about the food adulteration business and how a common man stands up against the scam.
