The 51st film from Dwarakish Pictures, Amma I Love You, is a remake of the Tamil hit film Pichaikkaran. This will mark the fourth collaboration of director Chaitanya and Chiranjeevi Sarja.

Since the action drama has a storyline that runs on a mother-son relationship, the makers were looking out for the right actress. After much thought, they have roped in south Indian actress Sithara, as they thought she fits the bill.

The team has completed two days of shoot in Bengaluru and have also chosen beautiful locations in Mangaluru and Udupi where they have planned the next schedule. They are now in search of a heroine, and hope to finalise the lead actress in a couple of days.
