Akshay Kumar met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday to chat about his next film, Toilet:Ek Prem Katha

"Met PM Narendra Modi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming, Toilet:Ek Prem Katha. His smile just the title made day", the actor wrote on his Twitter page, along with a photograph featuring him in engrossed conversation with Modi. It was earlier said that the film was based on Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan initiative. But the film's dialogue writers Siddharth Singh and Garima Wahal say the movie was conceptualised much before Modi became the PM.

The movie supposedly delves into the need for more toilets to ensure adequate sanitation in the country, and this message is conveyed through a love story.
