The Baahubali actor is apparently teaming up with director Gunasekar for the film

Looks like Rana Daggubati will do another movie that belongs to the Baahubali template. Director Gunasekar is apparently making a Telugu film with the actor in the lead role. It is beleived that the film, said to be a historical biggie, will be produced at a colossal budget. Of late, historical big budget productions have become a fad, thanks to the humongous sucess of Baahubali.

The film touted to begin soon has Rana playing the role of Hiranyakashipu, father of Prahladha as per Hindu mythology. Gunasekar's previous venture was yet another historical film, Rudhramadevi with Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun in the lead. An official confirmation is awaited from the team about the new project.
