Yesteryear actor Rajasekhar and actress Jeevitha's elder daughter, Shivani is foraying into Tamil cinema. As her parents have both been a part of the Tamil and Telugu industries for a long time, the debutante has been able to hone her acting skills right from a tender age. 

She says, "I've learned Bharathanatiyam and Kuchipudi, as well as music instruments such as keyboard, guitar and veena." Shivani, along with her younger sister Shivatmika, also practised singing by watching YouTube videos. "My sister and I are also practising kick-boxing," adds Shivani, who was born in Chennai and brought up in Hyderabad. 

Just like her father, Shivani, too, is planning to become a doctor, and is currently pursuing her third year in college. Despite being a fan of Dhanush, Vishal and Vijay Sethupathi, the young entrant to Tamil cinema calls her father her all time hero.
