Sam Anton, who directed Darling and Enakku Innoru Per Irukku, has finalised his next which will have Atharvaa in the lead.

The filmmaker tells CE, "It’s an action thriller, and I am currently working on the dialogues. Atharvaa is playing a cop for the first time in his career. I didn’t want to pick comedy genre again, so I thought of roping in Atharvaa. I feel he’s apt for the role. We’ve not zeroed in on the heroine as of now, but Yogi Babu is on board for the comedy track.”

Sam says he’ll begin shooting for this project from August. “We are planning to shoot in Chennai and Hyderabad,” he adds.

S Michael Rayappan of Global Infotainments, who had bankrolled Atharvaa’s previous film, Eetti, will be producing the film.
