Shruti Haasan hosted a special screening of her latest release, Behen Hogi Teri, in Chennai for her childhood friends and dad Kamal Haasan. The actress will be staying in the city for a couple of days before she heads out to London to give "finishing touches to her international musical collaboration, which will release later this year."

"I was glad to show the film to dad and my close friends on Monday. My dad has been my biggest critic and has given me the best advice with life, and with my craft. I am happy everyone enjoyed the film and my performance,” she says.

Shruti, who recently walked out of Sangamithra, currently has Kamal's Sabaash Naidu in the pipeline.
