After giving hits together with films like Namastey London, Welcome and Singh Is King, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were last seen together on screen in 2010.

After the announcement of the sequel of Namastey London, fans were expecting to see them together onscreen again. But it seems like Akshay has some different plans.

According to sources, the actor has suggested a new heroine for the sequel Namastey England. Apparently, the makers of the film want to cast an actress who's never worked with him earlier and Akshay suggested Parineeti Chopra's name.

Namastey London is still touted to be Katrina's biggest hit from the initial days of her career and it's unclear why she will not be a part of the sequel.
