Siddique's makeover for his movies

Express Features

Siddique has already established his talent as an actor, but the new look he sports for his next two movies is definitely intriguing. While he is seen sporting a shabby and wayward look for Jayasurya-starrer Captain, the actor was seen in a thug avatar for Lal Jose’s next Velipadinte Pusthakam.

From a shooting location, the actor decodes for us the secret behind the unique looks. According to him, he plays a wanderer in Captain. "The character is named Maithanam. Nobody knows anything about him other than the fact that he can be seen at every football matches and that’s how he gets the nickname Maithanam. At one instance, he gets a chance to meet VP Satyan, played by Jayasurya, and talks about the game to him in detail. His whereabouts will be revealed later in the story," says the actor.

And, for Velipadinte Pustakam, Siddique will be seen playing a character with grey shades. "My character Tharakan is the villain as can be seen from the looks. He is someone who has an issue with the college authorities and the students. He is miffed at the owner who allotted land for the college. Here too, there is a twist in the tale and that will be revealed in the climax," he adds.
