A Tamil film inspired by Apocalypto

The film titled Aaram Vettrumai deals with the lives of tribal communities who lived around 900 years ago

A film titled Aaram Vettrumai, inspired by Apocalypto, is being produced by Seventh Chance Movie Makers.The film, written and directed by Harikrishna, has newcomers Ajay and Gopika in the lead roles. Ganesh Raghavendra, who composed music for the 2009 film Renigunta, has been signed as the music director of this film. 

Aaram Vettrumai deals with the lives of tribal communities who lived around 900 years back. The film, based on three communities who inhabited three different mountain terrains, has been shot in and around the forest areas of Dhramapuri, Salem, Arur, Athirampalli. 

R. Balachandar, of Sri Muththamizh Lakshmi Movie Makers has acquired the distribution rights of the movie. The film also stars Yogi Babu, while Yugabharathi has been signed as the lyricist.
