Rachita set to take on other industries?

Rumour has it that the Kannada actress will soon be working on films in other languages too

A Sharadhaa

Actress Rachita Ram has been maintaining a low profile for sometime now, and news about her was last heard from the sets of  Bharjari. However, a recent photoshoot of the actress has sparked new interest, with rumours that she may be debuting in another industry soon. A little birdie tells us that the actress is happy to try films in other languages too.

Ask Rachita about this and all she says is that she “can’t reveal any details now.” The actress adds, “Wait and watch for an official announcement, which will be made by the production team.”

Seems like the actress will be among the many heroines who made their mark in the Kannada industry and went on to do well in other languages as well. “She has been offered films from Tamil and Telugu industries and has been getting projects for sometime now, but the actress took time to decide on it,” says our source. “Now that she has made up her mind to enter another industry, the actress is keen that her movie creates a buzz.”

The actress, who entered showbiz through the small screen, has had opportunities to work with the top stars in Kannada cinema including Darshan, Puneeth Rajkumar, Sudeep and Ganesh. Rachita was last seen in Pushpaka Vimana and is now all geared up for the release of Bharjari, starring Dhruva Sarja and directed by Chethan Kumar.

She is also looking forward to starting shoot for Uppi Rupee, work on which has been scheduled to start this month or in August. This film sees the actress paired opposite Upendra for the first time.
