Nagarjuna attended the pre-release event of director B Jaya’s upcoming release Vaishakam, where he reminisced about his rapport with the filmmaker and leading publicist-turned-producer BA Raju.

“I share a great bond with BA Raju and B Jaya, both of whom I've known for three decades. Jaya has become a successful director, and almost all her previous films were lapped up by the audience. These days, films with refreshing content work wonders at the box office. I sincerely wish Vaishakam, too, emerges a winner and brings a lot of fame to Raju and Jaya,” said Nagarjuna.

Producer BA Raju thanked Nagarjuna for supporting a small film and said, “The Akkineni family has been a pillar of strength to us. When I invited Nagarjuna for the pre-release event, he instantly confirmed his participation.”

Starring Harish and Avanthika, Vaishakam is releasing on July 21.
