Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s second directorial venture after the critically acclaimed Aaranya Kaandam, Aneethi Kathaigal was announced on October last year. The film, featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Malayalam star Fahaadh Fazil, completed its first leg of shoot with cinematographer PC Sreeram.

The ace cinematographer has since walked out of the project. The delay about the film’s upcoming schedules is cited as the reason. Meanwhile, sources state that cinematographer PS Vinod, who did Thiagarajan’s debut film, is now locked for Aneethi Kathaigal. The cinematographer’s Vikram Vedha is releasing this week.
