Nivin Pauly's next will be titled Kairali

The film will be directed by cinematographer Jomon T John and the story will be penned by Siddhartha Siva

Ace cinematographer Jomon T John is gearing up to don the director's hat. Jomon is all set to direct an film titled Kairali with Nivin Pauly in the lead. One of the most sought-after cinematographers in India, Jomon has worked on films such as Charlie, Ennu Ninte Moideen, Thira and Bollywood director Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4.

The cinematographer will make his directorial debut in this big budget film, penned by Siddhartha Siva that talks about the unresolved mystery behind MV Kairali, a ship owned by Kerala Shipping Corporation which disappeared off the coast of India with a crew of 49 on 3 July 1979.
