Vipul Amrutlal Shah had announced last year that he would be making sequel of his 20111’s hit movie Namastey London and that it would be called Namastey England. The first film starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, and Akshay was to feature in the sequel, too. However, according to latest buzz the film has been offered to Arjun Kapoor.

A source says, “The team has been working on the film for some time now. Initially Akshay was supposed to do it but since he is already busy with other projects the makers have decided to look for another actor to play this role. If things go well then Arjun will be on board and the film will go on floor next year.”

Last year there were reports suggesting that the makers have decided to put it on hold because of budget issue and Akshay, too, had given dates to other projects. Now it is said that the film will star Arjun and an actress will be cast soon. This film is supposed to be co-produced by KriArj Entertainment.

Earlier there was buzz that Katrina Kaif and Kangana Ranaut were approached, but then it was also said that Sonakshi Sinha has been finalised for it.
