The first schedule of the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer 96 has been wrapped up, and we hear the team is back in the city after a tedious shooting schedule. Also, we hear an introduction song featuring the actor has been shot in the north.

A source tells us, "They shot for about 15 days in and around Andaman, Calcutta, Rajasthan and Kullu Manali. By July 11, the team will head to Kumbakonam and shoot for another 15 days. The previous schedule didn't have Trisha, but she'll be joining the sets for the second one."

The makers are looking to finish the project by the end of October. Directed by Prem Kumar, the film will have Vijay Sethupathi playing a wildlife photographer. But what does 96 mean? "It's a romantic story and the title denotes the year of a school batch," adds the source.
