Salman Khan’s Bharat a remake?

The actor's film with Ali Abbas Zafar is reportedly a remake of a Korean film

Post Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan is going to work again with Ali Abbas Zafar in Bharat. It was reported that the film would be the the third and last instalment of the Tiger series, featuring Salman. It will be produced by Atul and Alvira Agnihotri.

Sometime ago, it was announced that the actor will be doing a remake of the South Korean film Ode To My Father, which is the second highest grossing film from that country. A source says, “After the team worked on the script, it was decided that Salman is suitable for the role of a lead. It is a story of a boy who gets separated from his father and becomes a breadwinner for his family.”

Incidentally Salman’s latest release Tubelight was also about how Salman’s character searches for his missing brother. Ode To My Father is also on similar lines, about a young boy who is evacuated from a war-prone region, while his father stays back to look for his missing daughter, and asks the boy to take of the mother and the rest of his siblings.

Salman is currently working on Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif, and then he will start shooting for Remo D’ Souza’s ABCD 3.
