Latha Hegde, who completed shoot for her first Kannada film Athiratha, is back from her short holiday to catch up with last schedule of her upcoming Tamil film Oh Andha Naatkal. What is interesting about this film, directed by James Vasanthan, is that it is "kind of a sequel to Sindhu Bhairavi", Latha tells CE.

"I play the generation after the main characters in the earlier movie, and the movie revolves around a mother-daugher relationship. The entire film's shoot was done in Melbourne and the climax is being shot now," she says.

Latha started her career with Telugu film Tuntari after which she had signed Oh Andha Naatkal. The Tamil film stars senior actors Radhika, Kushboo, Suhasini Maniratnam and Urvashi, among others. "With a female-oriented script, this film has an ensemble cast including Jithin, opposite whom I am paired," she says.

"Filmmaker Sundar C also plays an important role," says Latha about her Tamil debut. The actress, in the meantime, is looking forward to her Kannada debut release, Athiratha, directed by Mahesh Babu, which has her paired opposite Chetan.
