Kalaiarasan who has a number of projects that are ready for release, including China, Pattinapakkam, Kaalakoothu and Thaana Serndha Kootam, has now signed a new project. Produced by CV Kumar, who recently debuted as a director with Maayavan, the film, titled Titanic—Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum, will feature Ashna Zaveri and Anandhi as the heroines. Also starring Kaali Venkat, the film’s first look will be released on January 1.

This romcom will be directed by newbie Janakiraman, who has previously worked as an associate to directors Bala and Sudha Kongara. Nivas K Prasanna of Thegidi fame is on board for the music with the album being said to have five songs.
