Arvind Swami, who was last seen in 2016's Bogan, has revealed in a recent fan-interaction on Twitter that he will be debuting as a director next year.

In response to a question about whether he had any plans of directing in the near future, the actor replied with, "Yes, hopefully in 2018." When asked what kind of film the audience can expect from him, he responded rather mysteriously with, "Expect the unexpected." While the actor did not reveal anything more about the project, he sure got his fans excited with this tidbit.

Arvind Swami, who has recently been signed for Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer, has four films lined up for release in 2018 - Bhaskar Oru Rascal, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Naragasooran, and Vanangamudi.
