Actor Ram Charan is taking the entrepreneurial leap and how. The 32-year-old actor-turned-producer, who is already promoting a low-cost airline and owns a Hyderabad-based polo team will soon be branching out into theatre business, say reports.

It is learnt that the Dhruva actor will be partnering with his friends and producers Vikram Reddy, Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati of UV Creations for this venture. “As the multiplex culture is catching on in the Telugu States, they have decided to acquire ailing single screens and reopen them after a complete overhaul to give best viewing experience to moviegoers. Even though there is no clarity on Charan’s ownership percentage, it’s apparent that the collaboration is going to work wonders for all parties,” shares a source.

Recently, UV Creations snapped up the theatrical rights of Charan’s upcoming Rangasthalam in Nizam and perhaps this could be the reason they have picked it up, the source adds.
