Dancer and yoga trainer Aswathy Manoharan will be making her debut opposite Antony Varghese (of Angamaly Diaries fame) in Swathantryam Ardharathriyil, directed by Tinu Pappachan. She will be playing Betty in the thriller, that boasts of some high-voltage action scenes.

"I auditioned for the role and was chosen. Betty is a very relatable character and she has an important part in the story line. We have one more schedule left and so far it has been a great experience. The whole team has been very supportive," says Aswathy.

However, she says acting wasn't a cakewalk for her. "I am a debutant with no prior experience. So, this is quite tough for me. And, it is too early to even say whether the character is challenging or not," the actor says.

Swathanthryam  Ardharathriyil is about how the life of Jacob, played by Anthony, changes overnight. The film also has Chemban Vinod in the lead role.
