Veera backs off after heavy competition

The makers of the film, which was supposed to be released this week, have pushed the date back as there are too many films competing at the box office this weekend

Veera starring Krishna Kulasekaran and Iswarya Menon in lead roles under Rajaraman's direction has now officially backed out of release on December 15. The makers of the film have issued a statement citing the lack of screen count, due to several films are coming out during this weekend, as the reason .

In their press release, Orange Creations, the production house behind Veera, added, "This week around 10 films are releasing. With this situation none of the films will be getting proper screens. If the same situation persists, we will rapidly lose all good producers and distributors. It would be of great help if producer council brings out a streamline for the release of films in a week."

Their note also said, "We sincerely thank producer Mr. Elred Kumar sir and TN Distributors for being with us in all times and soon you will witness the release of the film in a grand way."
