After the success of Mersal and Spyder, SJ Suryah is busy with a number of projects in which he's playing the lead. Apart from Nenjam Marappathillai which is ready to hit the screens, the actor has got Iravaakaalam and a film produced by Karthik Subbaraj, which the director-turned-actor might direct as well as star in. The latest update is that he'll be seen in a film by Nelson Venkatesan of Oru Naal Koothu fame that'll be produced by SR Prabhu. 

Talking about the untitled project, Prabhu says, "the film will be a fun family entertainer that kids will enjoy. We're yet to finalise the cast and crew. Once we do that, we'll start shooting, likely from mid-January."

Prabhu, whose film Aruvi is releasing this week, is also producing Surya's next that's to be directed by Selvaraghavan (who incidentally directed Nenjam Marappathillai). "We're waiting for a few things to fall into place. That film, too, will commence in January, and be ready for a Diwali release," adds Prabhu.
