The team of Thamizh Padam 2.0, the sequel to the smash 2010 hit, Thamizh Padam, has got a new addition in comedian Sathish. There are also reports that Iswarya Menon has joined the film. However, there has been no official confirmation yet.

Mirchi Shiva, who played the lead in the original, is all set to reprise his role in Thamizh Padam 2.0. CS Amudhan returns to direct the sequel under Shashikanth's Y Not Studios. Incidentally, Shashikanth was an executive producer of the first film.
