Baby Driver, which came out earlier this year, was well-received the world over. The film, written and directed by Edgar Wright, featured Ansel Elgort and Lily James in the lead, with Kevin Spacey, Eiza González, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, and Jon Bernthal playing vital supporting roles. It told the story of Baby (Ansel Elgort), a young getaway driver and music lover who works for a kingpin (Kevin Spacey).

Now, Edgar Wright has opened up about the possibility of a sequel to the film, saying, "Talks for a sequel are already in the works. The deal is being hammered out as we speak." The filmmaker, also known for his Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World will likely write the sequel. "Whether it’ll be my next film, I don’t know. I have a couple of things that I’ve been developing, and I would like to get back on the saddle very shortly because there were four years between The World’s End and Baby Driver. I don’t want it to be that long again. I would love to have a film out in the next two years," he adds.
