Dhanush and Simbu take center stage in Sakka Podu Podu Raja audio launch

Sakka Podu Podu Raja, starring Santhanam and VTV Ganesh, introduces Silambarasan as a music director and the audio launch took place in Chennai today.

Dhanush, who was the chief guest for the event, said of STR, "Simbu and I have been friends through tough times. It's the middlemen who create issues." He went to say they may work together in the future. "I actually wanted to sing in Sakka Podu Podu Raja," he said, and also requested Simbu to do at least two films per year to satiate his fans.

Simbu, who took the stage, said that Ilayaraja and Michael Jackson were his inspirations, his father T Rajhendherr was his guru and AR Rahman was his godfather. Thanking Yuvan Shankar Raja for being the reason why he was a music director in the film, he also thanked Dhanush for his support at all times. He recalled his friendship with the Vada Chennai actor when he watched Kadhal Kondein at Albert theater with Dhanush

On the controversy surrounding AAA, he said, "AAA was planned as a single part film.We decided to shoot it in two parts because we overshot the budget. I apologise for my mistakes, if I had committed any."

The actor also talked about the Mani Ratnam multistarrer that he's a part of. "The Mani Ratnam project is very much on. Mani sir has not talked to me about the controversy. I will start shooting for the project from January 20."
