Unni Mukundan is all set to play the lead in Kannan Thamarakulam's next titled Chanakya Thantram. And, the latest update is that the actor will be seen in multiple get-ups.

The director says Unni will play a con-man in the movie. "Chanakya Thantram is a thriller packed with action. But, there is a strong romantic thread too. Unni's character has certain suspense and mystery to it. He will be seen as a shrewd guy who has a few tricks up his sleeve. Though the film is titled Chanakya Thantram, it will be a contemporary tale shot in and around Kochi," he adds.

Kannan Thamarakulam also says that Unni Mukundan's character has grey shades to it. "He is the hero, but then he has certain negative shades as well."

Anoop Menon will also be seen in a significant role in the film. The director says that Anoop's character is equally important. "He plays a guy in another part of the world and certain incidents bring them together," he adds.

Besides the two actors, Sshivada and Sruthi Ramachandran will also be a part of Chanakya Thantram. The film, being produced by Muhammed Faisal under the banner of Miracle Productions, has been scripted by Dinesh Pallath and Shaan Rahman is the composer.
