Hari Santhosh to direct Sharan

The director, who is basking in the success of Kaalej Kumar, will helm a family drama to be produced by Tarun Shivappa

A Sharadhaa

Hari Santhosh is extremely happy with his latest directorial Kaalej Kumar, which was well-received by the audience. The director, taking no time off, has shifted his focus on to his next project and he has chosen to helm a film for actor Sharan, with a story written by Tarun Sudhir.

The film will be produced by Tarun Shivappa, of Rose fame. After the names of a couple of directors did the rounds, the makers have decided on Hari Santhosh, believing that he will do justice to the family drama.

Sharan is nearly done with the shoot for Anil Kumar’s directorial Rambo 2, and is now on the sets of lyricist-turned-director Yoganand Muddanna’s debut project. This film with Hari Santhosh will be the actor’s first project to start in 2018.

A script launch event for it may be held before December 15, and more details regarding the rest of the cast and technicians are expected soon. The film will go on floors by mid-January, and Hari Santhosh is currently busy with the pre-production work.
