Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan (AAA) producer Michael Rayappan has expressed unhappiness about STR's unprofessional attitude on the sets of the film. "I am on the streets because of him. I've incurred massive losses," he said and added that while he's produced 12 films in the last nine years without any problems, this one film has brought him down. "There have been failures in the past, but I always felt satisfied about helping out others in the industry. But my last film, AAA, has devastated my career," he said.

Rayappan said no heroine was ready to act with STR. "Trisha returned the advance and Lakshmi Menon wasn't willing to do the film. Finally, Shriya Saran and Tamannaah agreed. Simbu kept changing the locations citing petty reasons like 'Madurai will be hot' and 'some places will be congested', so on. He also said he won't shoot on Sundays."

The producer added that STR even refused to dub for the film properly. "Simbu dubbed from his bathroom and sent us the files. We took the recording to a sound engineer who said the quality was very bad. So, we bought a sound enhancing software to match up his voice. He put me through mental agony that can't be explained. The team planned to complete the film in 76 days but STR attended only 38 days."

STR hasn't yet responded to these accusations.
