Director Venkat Prabhu's Party, which boasts an ensemble cast that includes Shiva, Shyam, Chandran, Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Nivetha Pethuraj, Regina Cassandra and Sanchita Shetty, is nearly 50 per cent complete.

The team is stationed at Fiji islands where half their schedule is completed and after a month, they're expected to return. True to the film's name the team recently celebrated veteran actor Suresh's 53rd birthday. Party also marks his 300th film in the industry. They also celebrated Vinayagar Chathurthi in the islands.

This action thriller, will have Venkat's brother composing the songs for his film for the first time and Party also marks the first time Venkat hasn't roped in Premgi as an actor.
