After directing Kaaviya Thalaivan, which was a period drama, we hear Vasanthabalan has started working on his next project based in Chennai. The director took to Facebook to put out a casting call for the film. He says he's looking to cast newbies and the requirement is to know Chennai slang. According to sources, he's almost done with the script of the action film. "We are in the process of finalising the actors," adds the source, telling us that Vasanthabalan will try his hand at action as a genre for the first time.
