Mahesh Babu's new venture directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Oopiri (Thozha) fame was launched in Hyderabad on Monday. This is the Srimanthudu actor’s 25th film. It also marks the first-time the actor-director duo are collaborating.

It is learnt that, for the first time, the actor will be sporting a bearded look in the film which is to be shot in the USA. This untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual will be produced by Dil Raju and Aswini Dutt. Word is that the makers are in talks with Pooja Hegde for the female lead. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to score the music, while PS Vinod will handle the lens.

Meanwhile, Mahesh’s next film Spyder, directed by AR Murugadoss, is gearing up for release on September 27.
