Thozha, which released to positive reviews, is well-known to be a remake of the French film,The Intouchables. The film is now going to be officially remade in English and has been titled, The Upside.

The drama will have Breaking Bad fame Bryan Cranston in the role of a paralyzed billionaire (played by Nagarjuna in the Telugu and Tamil version), with Karthi’s role of a recently paroled convict to be played by Kevin Hart.

The film also stars Nicole Kidman along with Julianna Margulies and Aja Naomi King. Directed by Neil Burger, The Upside will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September in the Gala Presentations and will hit theatres across the world on March 9 next year.
