Adil Hussain's film to compete at Toronto film festival

The film tells the story of the lead character, Nisha's double life - obedient to her traditional Pakistani upbringing at home, and a typical Norwegian teenager to her friends.

Iram Haq's directorial What Will People Say starring Adil Hussain, is all set to compete at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

The actor took to twitter to reflect his thoughts.

What Will People Say tells the story of the lead character, Nisha's double life - obedient to her traditional Pakistani upbringing at home, while a typical Norwegian teenager to her friends. Her life comes crashing down when her concerned parents kidnap her and send her to Pakistan, in the personal story of family, community, and culture by Iram Haq, a Norwegian-Pakistani actress, writer and director.
