Veteran comedian Janagaraj who has made a comeback to the Tamil film industry will also be a part of the Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96. The second schedule of the film is currently underway in Puducherry and stills of the comedian with Vijay Sethupathi have surfaced online. The current schedule also involves scenes with Kaali Venkat and Aadukalam Murugadoss, which seems to imply that the film will have a good dose of humour. 

96, which marks the directorial debut of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom-fame cinematographer Premkumar, is bankrolled by Madras Enterprises. Vijay Sethupathi is said to appear in multiple looks in this film.
