Last year, Tollywood star Rana Daggubati announced that he is part of a historical drama called 1945, which will be directed by Shivaakumar and produced by K Productions. However, not much was reported about the film and its progress. 

Now, K Productions, the production house of 1945, has announced on Twitter that the first-look poster of 1945 will be unveiled on Diwali. 

However, Rana Daggubati has asked fans not to trust the production house. In a tweet, he said it is an attempt by the producers to cheat people. The actor revealed that the film is unfinished, and he hasn't heard from the makers for the past one year.

This is an unfinished film with the Producer who had defaulted on monies and on completion. Haven’t met them for over a year. This is his idea of raising money in the Markets by cheating more people :) pls don’t entertain this. Thanks
