Puneeth’s next will carry a title from one of Dr Rajkumar’s films

A Sharadhaa

After delivering an industry hit with Raajakumara, Puneeth Rajkumar and director Santhosh Ananddram are coming together for the second time. There is a lot of interest around it in the industry and among moviegoers.

The official details of the film are expected to be revealed on April 24 -- Dr Rajkumar’s birth anniversary. A source close to the film confirms that the film is yet to be titled and that the title of the film will be selected from one of Rajkumar’s two hundred and five films. Apparently, the director has short listed three titles, and the crew of the film has been asked to vote for a winner.

Fans of Puneeth had requested the makers to name the film, Rajarathna; but as the story of the film is based on a social issue, the makers felt that the title would not be apt.

The film will be produced under Hombable Films banner. We hear that the director is waiting for the elections to get over before discussing when the project can go on floors.
