Not two, but three heroines

...says actor Arun Vijay of his next film Thadam.

Arun Vijay's upcoming film with director Magizh Thirumeni, Thadam, will go on floors from June 19 in Chennai. While it's been reported that the film will have two female leads, CE has additional information that the makers are bringing one more heroine on board.

Arun Vijay tells us, "Thadam (which roughly translates into footprints in Tamil) will have three leading ladies. And, two of them have immense scope to perform. We have zeroed in on actresses who haven't paired up with me on screen so far. Their names will be revealed before the shoot begins."

The director Magizh says, "One of the three will not be a heroine per se, but a central character who adds more value to the story. The third actress is a newbie."

Touted to be an investigative thriller, the film will have Arun sporting a different look. "In Kuttram 23, we explored a different crime angle. Thadam will also be an exciting ride for the audience."

Arun Vijay, when quizzed about the rumours of him teaming up with Gautham Menon again, says, "Gautham has already announced that he'll be doing a film with me. I am in touch with him. It is yet to materialise."

Thadam marks the second time collaboration of Arun Vijay and Magizh Thirumeni after Thadaiyara Thaakka. Sources say that the actor will be seen in a dual role in the film. However, official confirmation is awaited. Choreographer-turned-actor FEFSI Vijayan and Meera Krishnan are part of the supporting cast.
