Harshika wraps up Chitte atop Nandi Hills

Express Features

Harshika Poonacha was spotted on top of Nandi Hills, wearing a long red gown and humming to the song Sona Sona Re Sona. "My Kannada film Chitte is wrapping up, and the team is closing the shoot with the song in the film that introduces me to the audience. Though my pet name is Chitte, my character’s name is Sona in the film, and that’s why the makers decided to add the line from the Hindi song Sona Sona Re Sona."

"Writer and director ML Prasanna decided to shoot the intro track at Nandi Hills to capture the morning mist, the sunrise and the sunset from atop," says Harshika, adding, "The track comes alive on screen because it is sung by Rajesh Krishnan to music that has been scored by the director of the film."

Harshika’s  first look in Chitte had generated a lot of interest, and she hopes to create a similar impact when the film releases too.

Meanwhile, the actor, who has also completed shooting her Malayalam debut, Charminar, is currently going through scripts to decide on her next project. "I have spent over a fortnight going through some 12 scripts, but nothing has interested me. Unlike before, I have decided not to rush with my projects," she says.
