Dhanveerah’s Bumper gets new writer

Written by director Hari Santhosh, the film is produced by Supirth

Dhanveerah’s second outing, Bumper, produced by Suprith, who made his debut as a producer with Chethan Kumar’s Bharaate, is all set to go on floors in December. However, the film is still going through a lot of changes. As per earlier reports, Hari Santhosh’s directorial was going to be made with a script penned by director Chethan Kumar, who was also working on the film’s screenplay and dialogues. Now, the latest reports state that the film's producer has decided not to team up with Chethan. Instead, director Hari Santhosh himself will be writing a new script for the film.

An official announcement of the film was made on September 8, which was also Dhanveer’s birthday. In all likelihood, the project will take off sometime in the second week of December.

However, with the change in the script, we are yet to know about the new plot and role of Dhanveerah. The actor is undergoing an image makeover for the film. Meanwhile, the team is in the process of finalising the heroine and the rest of the cast and crew.

Currently, Hari Santhosh is working on the remake of his last Kannada film, College Kumar in Telugu. He has also completed the shoot of Bicchugathii Chapter-1. The historical drama, starring Rajvardan and Haripirrya, is now in the post-production stage.
