Yes, the concept of revisiting is dying with so much new content out there. But at a time where we are craving to get back to our mundane lives, a sense of familiarity does help. So, here is a list of familiar feel-good Hollywood films that we grew up watching. These films should be streaming online or might still be in the hard drive that has been long-forgotten. One film a day should help you get past this isolation.

Shashank Redemption: A prison drama should be much more relatable to us now, and what is more soothing than Morgan Freeman's voice at these tough times. Don't crack yet, be like Andy Dufresne.

Before Sunset: The best of Richard Linklater's iconic Before trilogy. This film is again about time. In fact, all of Linklater's works is about time and the gradual bonding of his characters.

500 Days of Summer: A text-book definition of feel-good movies. This rom-com about 'letting go' and the existence of true love is something to relish on this remaining 15 Days of lockdown

Big Fish: This unique fantasy drama starring Ewan McGregor is about a son's journey of knowing his dad during the latter's last days. It is more about the importance of fantasy in our mundane lives.

Crazy Stupid Love: Another cheesy film also talk about the existence of true love and 'soul mate', but this film is more on the lighter side of things even as sensitive as cheating.

Forrest Gump: A film that will make it to all such 'feel-good movies' lists. Watch it again before the upcoming Hindi version ruins the feel of the original.

Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone: When you forget the series and looked at as a standalone film, this can easily pass off as a feel-good movie about a non-person taking on the bad guy

Lost In Translation: Sofia Coppola sets up a soothing mood with this tranquil drama, which will teleport you from your locked houses to the streets of Tokyo along with Bill Murray and Scarlett.

Mamma Mia! : What good is a feel-good movies list without this film in it.
