Despite being a showcase for superior photo-realistic CGI, the contemporary remake failed to recreate the magic of the original.The Red Turtle -One of the most hypnotic, colourful, and meditative cinematic experiences ever made. A perfect example of purely visual storytelling, The Red Turtle is essential viewing for animation.Waltz With Bashir (R-rated) - Based on Ari Folman's experiences in the Lebanon War of 1982, this one employs a part-documentary, part-fictional style and is replete with memories and hallucinations.
