Although Ala Vaikunthapurramulo faithfully follows the blueprint of many successful family dramas, the story offers interesting twists and punch dialogues at regular intervals.

There's comedy, romance, and heaps of emotions. And as the story takes off, we don't see Allu Arjun, the star, but only his character, Bantu and that is one of AVPL's biggest strengths OTT - NETFLIX

The mix of emotions and humour in KD is perfectly balanced. It is filled with simple yet adorable things any lower-middle-class person would dream of, like travelling in an AC train, suiting up, etc..

The film acts as a beautiful reminder to encourage us to take a pause, forget all our worries, and relish every single moment of our lives. #YOLO... KD and Kutty style OTT - NETFLIX

Badhaai Ho came out of nowhere and blew our socks off. This tale of a simple, normal, genuine, middle-class values filled film was nostalgic, empowering, and continued the dream run of Ayushmann.

It was a nudge to the sides of the younger generation that it is not only about loving your parents but also remembering that our parents do more than just love each other. IYKWIM OTT - HOTSTAR

It is good that OTT platforms are doing away with the language barrier. More people saw Kumbalangi Nights, one of those brilliantly written, once-in-a-blue-moon films that scores in every department.
