NVP marks the third collaboration between Pandiraj and Sivakarthikeyan after Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi RangaSivakarthikeyan and Aishwarya Rajesh share screen-space for the second time in the film, after Kanaa.The brother-sister relationship dynamics is expected to be the crux of the film.The duo are called as the modern version of the Pasamalar siblings in the film.Sivakarthikeyan and Aishwarya are said to have quite a few comical sequences in the film.Sivakarthikeyan plays the boy-next-door character yet another time in NVP.His character is shown to be named as 'Arumpon'.The trailer is filled with funny and emotional moments in equal measure. The film is expected to be in the same lines.The dialogues by Pandiraj seem to underline the rural flavour of the movie.NVP is Aishwarya Rajesh's first 'sister-role' after her successful stint as the heroine.Anu Emmanuel plays a character called Maangani, Sivakarthikeyan's romantic interest in the film.Cinematographer Natraj Subramaniam aka Natty has been roped in to play a pivotal character in the film.Director Bharathiraaja reportedly portrays Sivakarthikeyan's grand-father in NVP.Sivakarthikeyan-regular Soori, who had a good run in Pandiraj's Kadaikutty Singam, is back at what he does best.Vela Ramamoorthy apparently plays a character with grey shades in NVP.In addition, RK Suresh and Samuthirakani are also part of the cast. The latter plays Sivakarthikeyan's dad.Yogi Babu is said to be playing an extended cameo in NVP.Nirav Shah has handled the cinemotagraphy for NVPThis particular scene in the film is said to have been shot with the villagers in the area doubling up as the extras.The film's music is by another SK-regular, D Imman.The film's album has songs sung by Anuridh, Sid Sriram, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Shashaa Tirupati, Neeti Mohan, and Imman.Vignesh Shivan, Arunraja Kamaraj, Yugabharathi, GKB, and Sivakarthikeyan have written the lyrics for the film.NVP is produced by Sun Pictures. It's their third production venture this year after Petta and Kanchana 3.The first single, Yenga Annan, with lyrics by director Vignesh Shivan and sung by Nakash Aziz, Sunidhi Chauhan, was released last month.NVP is scheduled for release on September 27.
