Suriya and Jyothika have had quite a fairytale-esque romance. The couple, who met on the sets of of their first film together, Poovellam Kettuppar in 1998, got married in September 2006, after being together for several years. They have two children, a daughter Diya (born 10 August 2007) and a son Dev (born 7 June 2010). They have shared screen space in 7 films so far.
