Sherin, Sakshi and Vanitha accuse Abhirami for what they believe is inconsistent behaviour. Vanitha declares that she does not trust Abhirami anymore. Abhirami breaks down and wants to leave

Kamal enquires how the housemates feel about eliminations. Sakshi is confused. Kavin is still thinking it through. Abhirami wants her 'friends' to be safe. Fathima Babu is prepared for even elimation

For the first time ever, Kamal announces that one viewer will be allowed to call and speak with one of the contestants. A caller asks Kavin who he truly loves in the house. Kavin tactfully denies

Kamal announces that Kavin is the second eviction nominee, after Madhumitha, to be saved from eviction. This visibly delights Sakshi.

Kamal asks the remaining eviction nominees to retrieve a cardboard cutout each, and asks for them to match it with another in order to be safe. The contestants look puzzled.

Meera nervously goes from Fathima to Cheran and finally to Saravanan, when she realises to her glee that the both of them are saved. Saravanan looks fairly unimpressed

Cheran finds that he and Sakshi are safe too, which leaves…

…Fathima Babu to be evicted. After an awkward silence, participants wish her the best. She seems a picture of composure.

Fathima Babu begins packing her bags. Meanwhile, Meera and Sakshi hug it out agreeing to ‘start fresh’.

Bigg Boss instructs Fathima to break her winner’s medal, which seems to shock the contestants. In the words of Sandy, “Too much pa idu. Romba aniyaayam.'

Fathima's family get invited on to the stage. They express pride for how she handled different situations in the house. A small montage of her stay in the house is shown, like in previous seasons.

Fathima gets to pick three candidates for captaincy for the following week. She picks Tharshan, Abhirami and Sandy master. Tharashan is clearly her favourite, as she hopes to see him in the final.

Fathima, leaves the stage, but not before advising people to keep voicing their opinions regardless of the situation and external pressure. Is there any doubt that she was referring to Vanitha?
