Mammootty's Tamil debut was in a very comfortable space. SN Swamy's script and directed by K Madhu. But who'd have thought Mounam Sammadham will be known more for the Kalyana Thenila song?

In Vishwa Thulasi(2004), Mammootty and Nandita Das starred in a decades-spanning timeless romance with excellent music by MS Viswanathan and Ilaiyaraaja.
