A particularly interesting facet of Kaala is the sense of family in every character. Everyone is connected in some way. Some by relation. Some by pain. Some by celebration. Some by struggle.

Talking about celebrations, the importance of Ranjith lies in how he showcases all the facets of the life of the oppressed. It isn't all tears and despair. There are laughs and happiness too.

When you finish the movie with the melange of colours that hits all of us, we always look back at this frame. A frame that defines the film, the director, and of course, Superstar Rajinikanth

Its been three years already since Kaala took our collective consciousness by storm. The impact of this character and film has just begun, and the inroads will be deeper and more impactful, for sure!
