Actor Deven Bhojani took to social media to share that his upcoming series, Chumbak, has wrapped filming. The upcoming series is set to premiere on Netflix, with no release date announced yet.
Netflix's Chumbak is created by Aatish Kapadia, who is known for creating Sarahbhai vs Sarabhai and Khichdi. JD Majethia is producing the upcoming series, with Aatish also serving as the director.
The cast for the series also includes Neena Gupta, Amyra Dastur, Anant V Joshi, Sumeet Vyas, Manasi Parekh, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Sumeet Raghavan and Sandeepa Dhar, among others.
The series follows the story of five families, who are neighbours, who through a serious of hilarious situations, become surrogates for each others.
Chumbak was announced earlier in 2026 along with Netflix's new slate of projects.
